Autonomes Frauenhaus Heidelberg
Our Autonomous Women's refuge Heidelberg will provide you and your children with secure accommodation, protection, advice and support if you have suffered psychological, physical, social, economic and/or sexual violence.
Our support is available to all women irrespective of their background, religion, sexual orientation or financial situation. Our advice is personal and confidential.
You live with your children in a furnished room and share a living room, kitchen and bathroom with other women and children. You live independently, i.e. you provide for yourself and your children. The address of the women's refuge is anonymous.
You will find more information about us and our mission statement here.
In case of emergency
Our shelter is open round the clock to admit women and children affected by violence.
We make a distinction between two types of admission:
Planned admissions
Monday - Thursday from 9.00 to 15.00
Emergency admissions
Every day round the clock (see below for emergency number)
Workers can be contacted directly at the women's refuge during the week. Our telephone hotline service is available afternoons, evenings, nights and weekends (see below for office hours and emergency number). This service will arrange admission to the women's refuge in an emergency.
You can also ring the police (tel. 110) at any time if you wish to be admitted to the women's refuge.
