"Courage" Women's Advice Centre
Our Courage Women's Advice Centre provides advice and support for women who
- are experiencing physical and/or psychological violence in relationships
- are in a high-conflict separation or divorce situation
- are seeking to enter the women's refuge
- have lived in a women's refuge
- need information and interaction
Any advice is free of charge and confidential.
Female interpreters can be provided if required.
Relatives and supporters of women affected by violence can also contact us.
Our Courage Women's Advice Centre also provides groups in which women affected by specific issues can interact with each other.
We arrange free talks and events so that women have the opportunity to find out more about the subjects of violence, separation and divorce.
A free advice session is provided every month by a female lawyer specialising in family law. Bookings must be made in advance.

Our Mission Statement
The guiding principle for our work is contained in our Mission Statement. We continually review our claim and the implementation of our values, objectives and visions.
We can also provide advice in simple language if you have learning difficulties or a mental disability. You are welcome to bring a trusted person with you.
Please let us know if you are hard of hearing or visually impaired the first time you contact us, so that we can clarify what support you need.
There is car parking for disabled people in front of our advice centre.
If your mobility is restricted, please note that there are two steps to our counselling room. A mobile ramp is available if required. We do not have a wheelchair-accessible toilet unfortunately.
Should you be unable to use our advice centre, we would be happy to arrange a consultation elsewhere (own home, school, clinic, etc.) at your request.
